How do I make a simple battery operated lighting circuit?

Is is possible (read: easy) to make a simple switch operated, battery powered light, which is colour changing - preferably on a parallel circuit.

The bulbs which I am going to use, are LED - in a range of colours: pink, blue, yellow, green %26amp; orange -but I don't know the power required for the LEDs.How do I make a simple battery operated lighting circuit?Link with instructions is here http://www.diylife.com/2008/01/25/make-a



You can modify it so you don't use USB as the power source -- use anything you want.



It's possible. Easy depends upon your skill set.
