How do you change a multifuction switch on a 1997 olsmobile cutlass supream?

my cars break lights and left turn signal stoped working and now i have to keep clicking my turn signal on and off to make it work also my break lights only work when i push back the turn signal indecater i was told it was the multifuction switch or a loose wire and to get it fixed cost to much money for something so stupid can any one HELP PLEASE How do you change a multifuction switch on a 1997 olsmobile cutlass supream?You need a steering wheel removal tool which can be rented at autozone. You pop off the horn button and unplug the horn,unscrew the big nut in the center. Use the puller to remove the steering wheel, dont forget to mark its original location. install the removal tool and screw it in a little bit. use a pick to remove the retaining ring and slide off the white plastic clockspring.
