My dimmer light at home keeps flickering at varying brightnesses randomly. Help!!!?

I have a dimmer switch in my front room at home, which has recently started to randomly dim, brighten and then just turn off altogether. I haven't changed the lightbulbs recently, as far as I'm concerned, this has come on with no seeming cause. Any ideas as to how to stop this from happening?My dimmer light at home keeps flickering at varying brightnesses randomly. at the light socket. But most likely it is the switch and will have to be replaced. Help!!!?It's your dimmer thats the problem ,they have a limited life and are usually cheap and break and buzz within a year or so,just replace it and you should be fine.
